Love Stories of Hawaii

Timeless Love

Once Upon A Timeless Moment
Dedicated to My Love

Submitted by Anonymous

He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me. Once upon a time, in a far away place called Wisconsin, a fair-haired shy young man met an equally shy young maiden. Both of them had little experience in dating or expressing themselves to the opposite sex. The young man,self-conscious because his parents had always made him feel inferior to his siblings, hadn't found the courage to ask many girls out on dates. The young girl, self-conscious because her hand had been mutilated in a farming accident, believed that no one would ever fine her attractive. He had attended an all boys school and found it awkward to find someone he could feel confident enough to ask out on a date. She attended an all girls school and had blocked the thought of a "boyfriend" of her very own from her head. "Dan's gonna stop by to see you after school lets out today " she said. ME? Why? "Dummie! It's prom time at Bosco and he wants to ask you to go with him!" Dumbfounded, he contemplated the possibility that it might be true, and decided to go IF he really would ask her. He did. She did, and friendship slowly matured into full-blown love. Four years went by before courtship blossomed into marriage. The honeymoon was cut short so that their dreams of college educations could be fulfilled. Two years, two college degrees AND two babies in just two years:too much. Yet, they survived , thrived and prospered. Now, 45 years later, they're still in love. Still thinking each of the other. That second honeymoon in Hawaii sure is going to be exciting!
