Love Stories of Hawaii

Long Distance Love

The One I Love
Dedicated to Jacob Cantiberos

Submitted by Anonymous

Where to begin, we have a very long and complex story. We met about two and half years ago. He was my best friends brother and he had just moved to Ohio from Hawaii, he was 19 and I was 15. All of His family lives in Ohio. The first time I saw him I fell in love. I never believed in love at first sight until the day I saw him. I was over at their house at least three to four times a week. We began to talk and become very close, we would stay up all night talking. One night while sitting out on hi sbalcony we had our first kiss, from that moment on I knew he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, regaurdless of how young I was. Ther was a big secret to all this, his family didn't even know, including his sister, my best friend.

One day while sitting in his room he got a phone call about a very good job offer, but this job was back in Hawaii. I never thougnt he would go, but turns out he decided to. I was so upset, I didn't know how I would handle it, I loved him so much. We both decided on staying together. My heart broke in half the day he left. After a year of long phone converstaion and e-mail he came back to live in Ohio. We couldn't stand being apart. His family eventually found out, and learned to accept it. We just recentally had a son named Kaiden. We plan to marry in the upcoming year. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I love him with all my heart.
