Long Distance Love

In searcdh of Freedom
Dedicated to Lee Archer

Submitted by Jessica

How I long to be free and able to run
With the wind to my back and my face to the sun.

Where I can smell the salt of a cool ocean breeze;
Where I can hang my troubles in the branches of the trees.

If I were granted only one wish, I'd ask only for some space
Where the wind combs my hair and the sun warms my face.

A secluded place for meditation where my worries fade away,
Somewhere in Hawaii where I can watch the sunset each and every day.

This to me is freedom, a place where I am able to be me;
Where I can see God in all of nature and thus find reason to believe.
