Love Stories of Hawaii

Timeless Love

Coming Home
Dedicated to Romantics All Over

My best friend, Hawaii, always loved her name. Her parents knew they would never be able to afford a vacation to Hawaii and had always loved the beauty of it. So when their daughter was born, she was named for the beautiful island. Her whole life, she dreamed of visiting her namesake. Her apartment was designed in tropical settings and had photographs of volcanoes, beaches and different Hawaiian artifacts.

One day on her way home from work, she saw the most handsome man she had ever seen. He was tall, dark, tanned and very different looking. As she pulled into her parking spot at her apartment, he pulled up next to her. They exchanged looks and discovered Michaela was from Maui and just moved here. Once their eyes locked, they were drawn into a beautiful loving relationship for the next 2 years. Hawaii loved listening to Michaela speak of his childhood on the island of Maui and she shared his dream of always wanting to go back.
On December 28th, Michaela told Hawaii to pack a suitcase and just trust him. His Christmas gift was a trip and he even worked out her time off from work.

They got to the airport, and he blindfolded her as they boarded the plane. After the long trip, they finally arrived. He put the blindfold back on Hawaii and led her from the plane to a car that was waiting for them. After what seemed to be hours, they finally arrived. It was all very romantic and scary at the same time. The sun was setting and the sky was filled with deep reds, pinks, blues and purples. A sunset seen only on the beautiful island of his town, Maui. As he slowly untied her blindfold, her eyes shut tight; he got down on one knee and asked her to open her eyes. The first thing she noticed was the white sand, the beautiful blue Pacific and the unbelievable colored sunset. Then she noticed Michaela on one knee with a beautiful sparkling diamond ring. He professed his love for Hawaii and asked her to be his wife. Finally.... Hawaii was HOME. They lived happily ever after!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
