Love Stories of Hawaii

Timeless Love

Love has given us Strength
Dedicated to My Husband Ted SR.!

Submitted by Michele

Ted and I, (Michele) were married at the young ages of 17 and 20. Neither of us were the Legal age of 21, So therefore my Parents had to take us on our Honeymoon. Yes we actually shared an adjoining room with them. (I know, Not much of a Honeymoon). Our Family and Friends said it would never last! We were too young to get married.
They said we didn't know what Love was. Well, 22 Years since we met, and after 21 years of Marriage we are still together, and More in LOVE than we could ever imagine. 7 Years ago Ted became Permanently disabled, what a Financial strain on our family... But we made it through.

Now, who would think at the age of 39 I would also encounter a dibilating disorder. I am also facing a tough road ahead, as I am also pending Disability. I don't want to go through all of the depressing details. I just want to share how much just having someone by your side through the Lowest of Lows, and the toughest of times, can make all the difference in the world. I was there for Ted during his Lows, and now Ted is there for me. Our Finances were strained when Ted could no longer work, and now that I am also unable to work, Things have gotten even harder. Our Dream was always to renew our Wedding Vows and celebrate our 20th anniversary in Hawaii. Well, now we could never afford it. We just had to say Oh well, Maybe for Our 25th, Or perhaps our 50th!

And keep the Dream alive. Hawaii seems like just That, A DREAM. Such a Magical and Wonderful Place. A Place to get away from the Daily struggles of Life. The two of us need something like this. A Vacation to Hawaii would truly lift Our spirits. We take each day as it comes, and try to make the best of it. Life is too short, and when you do not have your Health, I think you tend to realize that all the more. I am hoping that Our Dream will come true. Someday, a day where we can just Kick back, relax and enjoy life. I dream of being held in Ted's arms under a Beautiful Sunset. Not a worry in the world. In a Magical Place called Hawaii. Thank You for this Opprotunitity to make a Dream for Two come true! ALOHA!!!!
