Love Stories of Hawaii

Second Chance Love

Love as constant as the waves
Dedicated to My wife, Pam

Submitted by Anonymous

Some say it's too difficult to stay married and in love. These words are spoken by those who haven't found their "rib". Pam (my "rib") and I have been married for almost 22 years. For our 20th anniversary, we went to Maui, Hawaii. Though we couldn't afford it, we couldn't afford NOT to have gone. The beauty of the island made me appreciate that life with someone you love is short so we need to appreciate life's beauties while we can. Closing your eyes at the shore, you can hear the waves, smell the wind, absorb the sun through the trees, taste the salt in the air. Something about Hawaii makes you feel like this must have been the Garden of Eden that you're allowed to experience for just a brief moment of time that lasts a lifetime in your heart.
