Dedicated to My husband Douglas Quaderer
Submitted by Karen
If you had asked me six years ago if I thought I would ever find love and write about (just to have a chance to go to Hawaii) I would have laughed in your face.
One day I found a personal on the internet for this really cute guy. I thought he was way out of my league but, why not try, right? I emailed him a picture and a small paragraph telling about myself, and I wasn't nice about it at all. I basically said here is a picture, if you like what you see email me; if not then have a nice day. Two weeks later i received an email from the guy, and we started dating.
We are a perfect match for one another. We compliment each other and sure we have our fights, slamming doors and screaming. But we never go to bed unless we've made up.
We have been married for a year now, and did not get the chance for a honeymoon. We have a six month old son, who is our life.
If my story never goes further but a few eyes, that will be ok. Never give up hope on love, because sometimes it comes in packages you'd never have guessed. I never thought someone as great as my husband would have found me. He is all I have ever asked for, all i could have dreamed (well except for the bronze tan and greek god features). He has angel blue eyes, a very caring personality and patience. He stuck with me even when people tried to tear us apart.
When there were complications during my labor, he never left my side. He's my best friend and the love of my life. You don't find that love just anywhere.
He completes me and I him. I'd love to surprise him with a honeymoon, but if I can't; then I just want to let him know that I love him. To thank him for all he has helped me thru and all that he will. He is my blue eyed angel, sent to take care of me until we part in death.
So Hawaii can come or go, but I could never have asked for anything as great as my husband.
