Love Stories of Hawaii

Timeless Love

Life of infertility
Dedicated to My loving and caring Husband

Submitted by Kim

My husband and I met in high school and dated for two years (part of which was long distance)before getting married. We were so excited to get married and start a family. Our families were not supportive at the time and financially we were on our own. Our wedding was small and there was going to be no exciting honeymoon to Hawaii. We always said on our ten year anniversary we would go to Hawaii for our honeymoon and renew our vows in the sunset on the beach.

For the next five years of marriage life was rough. We had a parent suffer a stroke, several job changes, and moves. Our biggest struggle was being diagnosed with infertility. We so desperately wanted a family and the years of pain just brought us closer together.

My husband knew how much I wanted to be a mother and signed us up for foster parenting classes which we have done over the years. We have also researched adoption.

Our ten year anniversary is June of next year and we would love to live out our dreams for our ten year. With my husband being in the military and what little extra money we have being saved for an adoption we are unable to afford the honeymoon.

I know this isnt a big love story like the others but it truely is to us. My husband treats me like a queen and is the sweetest most supportive husband especially through all my tears of wanting a family over the years. I could not imagine a better husband.
