Love Stories of Hawaii

Timeless Love

My Life
Dedicated to My husband Ronald Dancy

Submitted by Cookie

The first and only time we visited Hawaii was on our 30th anniversary in 1998. We were both so excited, just like children. I have wanted to visit hawaii since I was a small child. When the plane landed and we walked off I could have sworn I was in heaven. I later told my husband if Heaven is any prettier than this I don't know if I can take it. It is the most romantic place we have ever been in our lives. The people are so friendly and the smell of flowers fill the air. Our first stop was Kauai, we felt like teenagers again. I can't begin to explain how wonderful our second honeymoon was. As we walked the beaches and visited the waterfalls, we fell in love all over again. When we left, I cried. I cried because one ever knows if you will ever be back to paradise.

Well, in November of last year my husband started having alot of health problems, first there was the prostate cancer, then the hernia, a heartattack and more surgery for the prostate cancer.

It has been over a year now and he is doing pretty well considering. I told him of the one thing I know that would make everything good again. Another trip to paradise. So, we are going to plan a trip late in the fall providing the tests they are running next week come back o.k.

With God's help, we will make it back to the one place where we share our timeless love "HAWAII".
