Dedicated to Jennifer Christopher

My wife and I lost our beloved pet Sunny last year. Jennifer and Sunny were together for 17 years. Sunny was with my wife through so many important events in her life. Sunny was always there to lick the tears from here face when she cried as a child, and was there on the day of our wedding.
When Sunny died Jen was devastated. She could not even muster enough energy to bring home a new cat. I figured that getting away would be a good idea, and Jen had alays wanted to go to Hawaii. She loves the beach, and loves to travel. We have been to Florida, Mexico, Greece, and many of the Carribean Islands, but no place has captured our hearts the way Hawaii has.
We visited Maui and Kaui in September of 2000, and ever since our thoughts and conversations always seem to drift to Hawaii. From our journey to Hana, to shopping in Lahaina, swimming in Kauai's North Shore beaches, to snorkeling at Black Rock.
It is the place that I think of when I think of paradise. We always say to each other that, "I wish I was siting on Kee'e beach", or eating dinner at Mama's Fish house, or watching the sunrise from Haleakala.
Hawaii helped heal us and bring us together, and allow us to bring our new kitten Daisy into our lives. We constantly suft the net and read books to prepare for our next trip bacause the spirit of Hawaii has embraced us, and is hard to be away from.
